Ainsley's Birthday Party

Ainsley waiting by her cake to blow out the candles!

Ainsley blowing out her candles!!!
Ainsley "oh wowing" her gifts as she opened them up!!!!

Catching Olivia as she played with her friends too!!!!

Ainsley's Lady bug party was a success! Ainsley felt special and I had so much fun getting ready for it and doing something special for my baby girl! My friend Stephanie made the cake for me (oh my goodness, not only cute; tasted great!!!) and I made special labels for the candy bars and mini candy bars and I even decorated the water bottles with Lady bug labels!!! Boy, Ainsley was all "lady bugged" out! She wore her lady bug dress and when she went to put it on she said she was "BEE-YOU-TIFUL" (seriously, this is how she said it!) She loved all of her gifts and as I write this she is in the living room with Chris taking things out of boxes and saying, "This is mine, but you can play with it." to Olivia. (bless her heart!) Andrew just wants the boxes..... Ainsley received a lot of really nice gifts. She loved everything and not really sure if she has a favorite yet. I know she loves her baby doll and bottles, her doggy that has the vet stuff and her skates (thanks Aunt 'Letha). I do believe I hear her coming down the hall in them now!! I guess we will be going to the skating rink soon... ummmm..... Am I really a mother of two children out of diapers and a toddler boy?? no way, not me! (they grow way to fast for me..... ) Well, I guess I need to go join the family in the living room to play with all the neat toys.. and I know what movies we will be watching on family movie night... Barbi, KungFu Panda, etc..... get the pop corn popped!!!!

Love to all that came and whom did not get to attend.. we really DID have a great time!!

Andrew's first birthday Party!!

Here were the decorations made by Olivia! And of course the first birthday cake!

Andrew digging into the cake I made him! He did better after Olivia helped him get interested by sticking her finger in the icing and then letting him get the icing off of her finger... what a sweet picture.. and a fun memory!

Pumpkin Patch continued!

I could hardly take pictures because they wouldn't stay still!! They had so much fun running everywhere!
What a sweet picture of my beautiful daughter! I love to see my sweet girls with their precious bows!
The best of all three! The sun was in their eyes, but just ADORABLE!

The pumpkin Patch!

Andrew loves to pull up and on pumpkins are no exception!! He had just as much fun as the girls touching the pumpkins and playing in the hay!
No bribery here! They were happy to be "mrs. pumpkin head" and "mrs. scarecrow"!
I think we found the perfect pumpkin!
Olivia helped us find the perfect pumpkin in the patch!

After Church Oct 26th..

We had a great time Sunday at Church. It was time for the Halloween party,
and the girls got to do arts and crafts! The baby got to eat a lot of cookies, so
he was pretty happy too!
Of course after these pictures were taken we went to the Pumpkin Patch
to find the perfect pumpkin to carve....

Olivia and Ainsley are such sweet girls... and they are so good at church,
as well as everywhere we go!

Andrew is such a darling little boy.. I am so lucky to have my little man!

This has proven to be a very busy month... We have managed to go to
several birthday parties, hold a party (that makes me remember that I
need to put those pictures on here too!)

Okay.. I better get busy!

Oh, Doctor's appointment..... Olivia is 39 lbs, Ainsley is 34 lbs, and Andrew
is 23 lbs.... all three healthy and growing like little weeds!

Wales West Continued...

Here are the girls decorating their baby pumpkins... There were so many choices, (and so much glue, sigh!) that the girls had a blast and didn't want to leave!
Olivia before she got to blow the steam whistle... now, that was really loud!
Ainsley wasn't shy either! They were so impressed that they got to go into the engine compartment to blow the whistle!

Wales West Railway Adventure

The family ventured to ride a real steam locomotive all the way in Silverhill... Yep, that's right folks. Right in our backyard you can find one! It was a great time and the children loved it! We rode the railway, played in the play ground, went to the pumpkin patch to let the children pick out their baby pumpkins to decorate...
Andrew found the perfect one and wanted to suck on the stem. He was such a trooper and loved the train ride!
Ainsley found her pumpkin and was read to decorate... She dressed up in her Ariel costume for the trip.. it was so much fun!

Working on Halloween cookies this Week!

GG stopped in to help paint our cookies!
Andrew got all excited about the spiders and cob web!
Here we are decorating... and we are unsure where a couple of the cookies disappeared to! umm...

Olivia and I love to cook together... we baked cookies and planned on decorating them and that is just what we did! It was nice to have the extra help when GG came to visit! Unfortunately, I have hurt my shoulder so I needed the extra set of hands! Chris contained Andrew during our fun!

We just can't wait till Halloween! Both girls do not want to do haunted houses (darn!) but we are going to have so much fun this year! We have decorated the outside and the inside of the house.... we have to get busy finding out what mama can dress up like!!! Umm... I sure would like to go as "mama" but the girls want me to be "something".... ummm.....

Any help out there?

GG & Andrew

GG & Andrew

Andrew loves his grandmothers! GG came over and Andrew just screams with excitement!

Andrew will crawl up to my mom and begin to paw at the floor and bow his head... It is the cutest thing. He does this when he wants her to pick him up!

FIRST PRESCHOOL AWARD!! (AINSLEY!)

This past week of school Ainsley came home with her first reward! She remembered from her teachings the first book of the Bible.... Gensis! I am so very proud of her! When I asked her what the first book was, I could have sworn she said, "Jesus". I guess after all the talk about the books of the bible she really knows it because she has diligently responded the first book of the bible correctly for each person her mother asks her to say it for! It was thought at first that her teacher misunderstood her, but I really think she really was the only one in her class that remembered! I know she is smart, and funny... .keep reading.....

Another funny story would be when her daddy asked her if she pooped in her panties. She looked him dead in the eye and responded, "no daddy". We both knew she was dirty, as the odor was proof. So as her daddy looked at her and began with a raised voice, "Ainsley, why are you lieing to me??!" I interjected my thoughts. "Ainsley, are you dirty? Did you poop in your britches?" Ainsley looked at both of us and said, "I don't have panties on, I pooped in my pull-up." Another little story, since we are on the story of poop.... Ainsley was standing by me the other day and I asked her if she was pooping in her pull-up (see, I learn quickly!) and she said, "no mama, I already pooped in the hallway." Well, at least she pooped in her pull-up IN the hallway... boy, will this child ever be potty trained!? She is fighting us on it right and left!!!

BUT.. today, she told me she needed to use the potty and she held it until we made it to a bathroom. I imagine it can't be too much longer!!
Ainsley is a precious little girl!!!! Funny, smart, sweet and loving... She is almost too big for me to pick up.. so sad to me!!

Oh, unfortuntely Ainsley fell in the hallway Thursday night and busted her chin. She had to be taken to the ER for some dermabond. I hope that her chin doesn't scar too badly. Bless her heart, she is a beautiful little girl. I hate that both of my children have had busted chins!!!

I will keep everyone updated on my darling daughter and her funny tales..

Oh, I am coaching her already on the 2nd book... Olivia knows it already.. that is a start!
